I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO MEET YOU BABY!!!

That's all... but everyone 38.5 week pregnant person feels this but I just want to SHOUT IT!  And I am itchy all over belly and legs from some allergy and hives pregnancy related, and HOPING it goes away fast after labor.

Also, I'm convinced no wives tales work for starting labor... I've tried them all... like dozens of times the last three days....

Last weekend leading up to this sitting around the house, cool, overcast memorial weekend I kept busier outside of Hutch and that was the key to not thinking about it so much.  I got to hang out with a few coworkers watch our other coworker playing MN Vixen Women's Football, sleep at my sister's and had to the Rosenthal's duo graduation party!

The HLWW Vixen fans... and that stain on my shirt happens daily...
I seriously drop food on my belly everyday...

DULCE #66!!!

But this weekend I am keeping busy in the house and getting things done but every time think, "Nice, that's done, now baby can come."
Grocery shopping done... now baby can come
Bike ride with dogs done... now baby can come
House cleaned... now baby can come
Grading done....now baby can come
Laundry done... now baby can come
This blog is done... now baby can come...

Golfing til the end!

Though some people debate (aahhhemm.. my husband...)  if this past mother's day is really my first mother's day, but regardless of their viewpoint, I didn't care and had a wonderful relaxing weekend.  My mother in law sent me a great package with Andy's blanket made by his Grandma, tooth box for the tooth fairy, picture of him and his favorite stuffed toy Woof!

I did get a pedicure Saturday since bending is not easy anymore.  Students pick up everything for me when I drop stuff (which is a lot).  My golf partners and girls I coach pick up my ball from the hole (that extra 4 inches is TOUGH!).  So pedicure was a much more necessary treat this weekend.  Saturday night we had a fun night out with the Schwedlers.  It was tough to schedule (we've been attempting since January...) with Dave and Andy on the same crew and different shifts and different weekends but we finally got a date in.  We had dinner at Zella's with drinks and desserts before and after at our house.

But my favorite part of my mother's day was just golfing with my husband in the perfect spring weather we are finally having!  Andy had been getting lots of golf in during mornings or afternoons around his shifts and though I'm coaching it, we have had so many meets to make up with our crappy April,  I have got to play a lot less this spring than usual.  I'm in the 3M league and thankful it is 9 holes w/ a cart after a day of working/practice on Wednesdays, but walking 9 is tiring.  18 may even be rough in a cart, but I haven't tried that yet...  But I don't care and will fight through it because I'm golfing til the end!

Showers... and not the rainy kind!!

Well, it was a little gray and a little wet yesterday, Sat. May 4th for my Hutch baby shower, but the weekend before in Chisago it was perfect spring weather!  And either way, the weather didn't matter because the fun of family and friends together for our baby was the highlight!!

April 28th, felt like my wedding day minus all the men!  It was so fun to have both sides of family and friends from Hutch and the cities together at one place!  The few hours went so quickly but were very memorable.  I brought my baby book as half the people there were at my mom's showers when I was the newborn!  My sister and our friend Alison gave Baby Junebug a Royal Tea Brunch and the menu was exquisite! Everyone played the "don't say the B word" game and was stealing baby pins.. I was proud of my Aunt Brenda for winning!  Then while opening gifts everyone guessed my belly size with string.  It was fitting my pregnant friend Nicole won as we are about the same size right now!  However, my Aunt Judy got a little carried away and her string was taller than me and wrapped around belly twice!!

Sat. night, we got to put to use the Broadway tickets I got Andy for Christmas.  First, we had a wonderful dinner at a favorite restaurant we used to go to all the time during college, Joe's Crab Shack.  Andy's meal was taking a little long, but they were super on top of it and apologizing/explaining everything, plus then they gave us both our entrees for free!   After we headed to the Orpheum where we went and saw Mary Poppins! The play may have been my favorite setting and scene changes I have ever seen and the dancing and singing we very well done.  Michael and Jane were amazing child actors too!

Packing up the car and Croix on Sunday was a feat but good thing Andy was good at Tetris!

This weekend was our Hutch Shower!  Matt and Jody came out for the day and my friend Mary MacLeod came all the way from Eau Claire.  Sarah hosted the shower for us and did a wonderful job with her themed party.  Pink OR Blue (If Only We Knew!)!!  The decor and food down to the fine details had their touch of boy or girl!  She put together all the Old Wives Tale tests for everyone to guess what I was on different tales and then we put them to the test.  Results are in... looks like baby could be a Girl!  Everyone went with their gut feeling and showed off with a cookie what they thought we were having!
