With Andy on his team leader shifts (midnights this week) and both of us working Valentine's weekend, we decided last Friday the 8th to have our "Valentine's Date". I have a love-hate relationship with Valentine's day... Obviously any excuse to have a date night out is okay with me, but I don't like the idea of "obligatory" flowers/cards/love... (I like going into card aisles WITH Andy and showing him the perfect card I would've bought him but saved 4 dollars... Dunn Bros tomorrow... I think so!) Regardless, our river walk with Croix, eating at Zella's and renting a movie just relaxing together was perfect! (And still cheaper than in a few months when we hire a sitter!)
Which reminds me friends, keep me in the loop with those baby sitters! But we have picked our daycare out and have our spot reserved for next fall... We liked everything about the home daycare but ESPECIALLY it is one street over from our house! Not EVEN a minute drive! We just have to meet our backyard neighbors more and we can cut right through the yards and be there even faster walking!
