TARTAN PARK (Pirate Park!): This Park is over by 3M truck entrance, skate park and where the Huskie Baseball team plays!  Schwedlers showed us this park and it is a favorite of Declan's and mine.  He asks for this one all the time!   He loves to walk the plank and drive the ship! And say, "Polly want a cracker" &  "Rrrrr... I'm a pirate!" in the speaker megaphones!

This park tour is a ton of fun, though Declan asks for a "New Park?" every day and we will run out of parks soon if we keep appeasing him!

Fawn-Doe-Rosa & Sculpture Garden Fun!

While Andy, Lance & David worked on Andy's boat... the girl's went to PLAY!

We went first to Fawn-Doe-Rosa, a animal petting/feeding zoo, only to find out it was closed til May.  But Declan got to see all he wanted thru the fence and had enough fun for 15 mn on the outside gates!

We had time to spare before lunch so went to the Franconia Sculpture Park on Hwy 8 & Hwy 95.   I had never been to even the old one.  Declan had a blast running around and climbing turtles, parks, houses, lizards, trains and hugging a piggy bye-bye!

"Blue tower fall down."  He tried to push it!

Running Running Running in place on the wheel with Auntie Britta!

He loved the Letter Sculpture!

Easter Spring Break Fun

This year my school had the perfect timed spring break for me.  I wasn't ready a couple weeks ago but this week was perfect.  First half of spring break was spent in Hutch and the second half we headed to Racine for Easter with Andy's family and so he could work on his boat and bring it back to MN!  It was a productive and relaxing break!  So bring on the last two months of school and golf!

It is really hard to take pics of moving toddlers in the moment and it's near impossible... Gotta love digital cameras!  I finally got some new favorite pics of my boy that I have taken in a long time!

Uncle Brian had a friend getting rid of this bouncy house that worked perfect and Declan enjoyed it a lot!

Easter Bunny gave Dec his bubble mower early on the nicest day we were there so Andy could work outside on his boat with Dec busy!  He spent 20 minutes mowing and then wanted to bring the BIG eggs outside and ran circles around them!

It wasn't a Hutch Park but a yellow park nonetheless and Dec loved climbing the mountains and being "King of the Mountain."  He did finally head to the equipment and Croix joined Daddy and Dec up on the bridge... and then took a slip down the slide!  Declan just laughed and Croix had a look of fear on his face!

Declan was a pro at "Hide and Seek" eggs... We started "practicing" the weekend before and he made us hide them inside and outside practically everyday.  I have a feeling Easter Egg Hunting will continue for a few weeks in this house!
